This is our interview with Chuck Rigano, the surfer who had the misfortune of burning one of the most famous and well-liked surfers in the history of the sport.
While most surfers wrote Chuck off as being a jerk, kook, or something worse online and assumed the drop-in was a blatant hackjob by an egotistical douche.
This couldn’t be further from the truth.
We were happy and proud to sit down with Chuck on the inaugural episode of our podcast to clear the air about the Drop-In Heard ‘Round The World and to set the record straight on #SnakeGate.
And, for the record, here are a few photos of Chuck ripping.
And he’s a BeachGrit.com article featuring a clip of Chuck surfing alone and quite well on a bunch of waves as well.
What do you think?
Is Chuck a good guy?
Do you still think he’s a dick?
